Collectively, our veterinarians have almost 100 years of collective "hands-in" experience within the pet healthcare field. Moore had been in business, for over 30 years, serving the Fort Collins and Front Rnage with caring, cutting edge veterinary services.

Below are the Doctors behind Moore Animal Hospital. As you'll soon see, your pets paws, are in excellent hands.

Dr Douglas Leidholt of Moore Animal Hospital
Dr. Douglas E. Leidholt received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1980. He joined Moore Animal Hospital in 1980 and is now owner and director. Dr. Leidholt did two years of post-doctorate work in surgery at CSU and spent one year training and working with Dr. Kenny Smith, the first board certified surgeon in the USA. Dr. Leidholt created the Moore Animal Hospital motto "treat all pets as if they were your own". He believes strongly in preventative medicine and feels all animals deserve the best medical care. If it can't be provided here, he refers you to a specialist.

Dr Maura Buckner of Moore Animal Hospital Dr. Maura Buckner joined Moore Animal Hospital after receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. She grew up in Southern California and got her Bachelors of Science at Colorado State University. She has been married since 1988 and has two children and believes that nothing is more important than family. She understands that your pets are part of the family and deserve the best possible care available. Dr. Buckner is dedicated to providing the quality of care that you have come to expect from Moore Animal Hospital.

Dr John Moore now retired and founder of Moore Animal Hospital Dr. John Moore founder of Moore Animal Hospital, is doing just great. We are sorry to say, Sweet Mary passed away but he has happily re-married his best friend Beverly Newton. Dr. Moore comes in every now and then to see all the new faces and to get food and medications for his dogs and his new kitten Tu-Wi. We are proud to carry on the Moore legacy.
